Windsday 1/18

Shok ? There was some wind yesterday, but the lake cam was showing glassy water... turns out it failed to refresh from days ago (not the dreaded dome effect). It's fixed now & showing some blue sky and light chop Shok

I'm planning on sailing at Van Pugh early afternoon. I'll check the web cam before leaving. Please let me know if you're going.

I thought about going yesterday, but saw the glassy water on the webcam and realized too late the image failed to refresh.

I plan to arrive at Van Pugh by 2PM. We've been making reservations for the Fred Howard Park windsurfing trip Sat. PM-Monday.

Crispy, Capt. Reynolds Wrap (Foilman) and I ventured out on a probably nothing day. Crispy sailed his Superlight around half the lake. CV and I took out foil and Formula/9.5 respectively. Amazingly, we got some decent rides on a day that should have been a total zero. All hail lightwind gear.

Don't worry Barrett, the wind was probably under your minimum, you didn't miss much.

Water is still cold but the air was pleasant. Filming continues around the corner. I felt important leaving as I was asked to wait a minute as a scene finished filming. Probably, if I'd been driving a Porsche instead of the purple van, I'd have been let through. Sad
