Wind Wed. at Lanier?

I hope to sail tomorrow afternoon at L. Lanier, probably at Van Pugh. Please post if you're able to go.

Want to: yes. Reality: Probably not.
It's one of those crazy days - dentist, vet, etc. I think I'll end up being miserable and jealous. I hope the forecast holds up.

Re: Wind Wed. at Lanier?

Fins are expected TODAY!, 30 knots expected this weekend, (or 30 not.)

Also expected today, Chris & Randy's new sails.

Also expected, WIND for the next few days.

Records will fall!

I hope to sail when it blows, might do OLD FEDERAL today, or SUNRISE, looks like alot of south.

Re: Wind Wed. at Lanier?

I did get out for a while Wednesday on my long bored... top speed 12.9.
For you speed freaks, the strip of land that connects A'land to Island 16 is just inches above the water level–

Old Federal is way too back for SW. NW is good because it blows into that bay.

I hope there's no dome effect as warm as it is today.
Friday - no
Saturday - count me in and save me a parking spot.

A few more of us are headed there (Sun Rise) also, be there around 1:30 or 2:00.

15 minutes of 15-20
15 minutes of 5-10
repeat

hard to complain, though, when it's 75 degrees, February and they are skating on the canals of Amsterdam (ie, it's cold as $#%@ somewhere else)
