It seems to be blowing ALOT right now (10:30 Fri,) but it's raining and cold, around 38 degrees on my deck. The radar looks like the rain may slack off alittle maybe around lunch, so is anybody thinking of giving it a try?
It might be one of those 'I'll go if you'll go" days.

Sunday looks free of rain and more stable winds, but....it'll be a raw 26 degrees in the wind chill !
ALMOST LIVE UPDATE -
Van Pugh, Saturday, 11:45, CAPS!
It's Sunny and fairly Warm, 45 degrees per my car but feels better in the sun. I'd probably rig my 7.5.
Randy is on his way and I hope to be out there right after lunch.
Yesterday, it was just too raining and cold, but there was alot of wind.

It turned out to be windier at the Lake than expected. Gene & I rigged 6.0's, Randy 5.2 & Chris 5.6m sails. We had an hour of good wind before it dropped and became gusty. It was cold, but fun.

I'm watching it today, Sunday, maybe .....

Almost Live Update -
Sunday, 2:30-3:30, Van Pugh - We had Caps and Jim C Manned-Up. It was 40 degrees and just some caps, and Jim nailed it on his 7.5 and 148 liter Bic Techno. He was the only sailor, I just watched. Also, because everyone has been having so much trouble launching from our regular launch due to the high water and funky winds, Jim launched off the rock wall. He launched at the point almost by the swimming beach, where we use to launch sometimes where the old rock wall had collapsed. And he launched there not once but twice. I was impressed, and no I'm not going to try it because I know I would kill myself or my equipment trying to get over the wall. Anyway, Jim had a good session, and I should have sailed but didn't Man-Up.
