... given how little wind is around here
About a week ago, Denmark made the absolute most out of a particularly windy 24 hours by harnessing its power and producing not only all of its own electricity needs for the day, but enough extra to spread between three neighboring countries. To be exact, the sustainable wind-power technologies harnessed and collected 144% of one days electricity needs.

It's been windy all day here in Nags Head. The windmills have been spinning at nearby Jeanette's Pier.
Alain shot some great movies today with his GoPro that I promised to post. Then he lost his camera in the Sound 50 feet from shore.

ouch... really. I don't even want to consider the sinking feeling one gets when something like that happens.
Wow - that's a shame. I feel terrible when the video's I shot don't turn out. I can only imagine how bad you would feel if the camera was lost.
If its only 50 feet maybe he could find on a calm day unless it floats, in which case, probably not.
What happens in a black hole stays in a black hole.
Last evening we stopped at a beach store where Alain bought a plastic mask & snorkel set. He's now wading in the water in front of the house looking with his swim mask, searching for his camera.
