arriving 1PM or so....You may get a glimpse of Kitesurfing in Van Pugh tomorrow, since I have not been able to secure other kitesurfers for tomorrow's session - epic forecasted conditions!. If more kiteboarder are joining, we'll probably go to Old Federal.
I give it a 7 of 10. We had a good crew out for a weekday, 7 or 8 sailors, 1 kiter. It was cold but sunny, and the water has really cooled off (understatement). It was WINDY, but did have holes in it. I sailed a 5.8 sail and my 142 liter HiFly, because of the lulls. It did blow from around noon until dark. It was a good day.
i would give it 7 of 10 also. I sailed 5.5, later in the afternoon there were some big holes, but it was worth going out!!!
I also overheard a "kiter" say he might get a windsurfer for days like these.... but then he did have quite a long swim, maybe the cold got to him
