We had a great turnout Thursday and the wind came in early in the afternoon for about an hour, then died. Chris P. & Diane stayed late and were rewarded when the wind came back from about 5PM until sundown. When the wind died we noticed that surface clouds were blowing from the NW, whereas higher clouds were blowing from the SW. When the upper clouds disappeared, the wind came back from the NW.
Friday afternoon was great with windsurfers rigging between 5.2 to 7 meter sails. I rigged a 7.0m with a 100 liter board and was on a plane 95% of the time with occasional powerful gusts. I could easily have been on a 6.0m for the first hour of sailing. Windsurfers - Randy, Joe & friend Didero (?) visiting from France, Bill A., Gene, Chris P.

Larry and I were there as well. He made the best call for the first of the afternoon with a 7.5. I enjoyed a 6.0 on a Techno2 148 the last couple of hours of the day. Extra reward was a surreal sunset the last leg in.
May your water be smooth and your winds be swift.
