Sunday the 28th - Galts

Looks like another big wind day. I'm thinking Galts. Anyone else game for it?

I am forming an exploratory committee... let's chat... let's have a dialogue.

Me too. I watched Gilmer temps go down all morning then up to 42 and back down at 1 p.m. It's got to be in the upper 30's at VP!

Boy howdy, did you guys miss out. It was really good. It was just Al and me. Al on a 6.0, I started on a 6.5 then rigged down to a 5.4 which was still a handfull in the gusts. Speaking of gusts, they were actually pretty steady, so you could get nice sustained runs and jibes. Water was Hatteras flat too. It was so good in fact, I broke the nose off my board. Oops.

It's the Naish Titan. Sorry Tim C., I know you liked that board.

Fear not though. A week or two in dry dock and it'll be back in action and ready to take some more pounding.

Must be a problem with Naish boards. Last time I was at Galts I got a nasty little ding in the hull of my Floater. I guess I'll have to send Robby and email, and let him know his boards aren't tough enough for Galts Ferry.

ok now, guys - it's a poor craftsman who blames his tools. Bill - I've missed that Titan even more since being here on the mushy coast. I have the 110 L version and have worn the pads off of it in two years. Would have gone for that Floater but it has the wrong fin box. If the Robster would produce a 95 L and a 125L I could get back to a 2-board quiver. Hope to get in a therapy session with you guys when the lake warms up = i'm spoiled on 60-degree water temps.
