Some sailors have been calling, I just dont know. Sometimes it looks windy, then not, looks like it's clearing up, then starts raining. It is warm, but the airport says it has alot of south in it, 240 degrees, so Van Pugh or Old Fed? And it's getting later. Dont you love Windsurfing in Atlanta?
I dont think an Almost Live Update will help as conditions are changing. It needs to make up it's mind.

Almost Live Update - Atlanta Sucks.
Van Pugh 2:45-3:15, not much wind, then some wind but not much, then mist, then rain. Trey O was there and decided to go home. I decided to go home. Randy and Al L was on the other side of the lake, same, they decided to go home.
Remember, when it's good, it sure is fun.

Sorry for calling so much about constant wind updates but I just love the sound of your voice.
It's not Atlanta's fault anyway, it is the fault of Gilmer Airport. I mean, after all, that's where the wind comes from, isn't it?

Al and I did end up sailing, and we have the pictures to prove it. I left and Al decided to stay just a little longer. Just before I got on 400 he called and said he saw a whitecap. Since it had been so long since I'd seen one, I rushed back to see if they were like I remembered. I saw some too, and we rigged. Then it rained, and was all around nasty, but not much wind. Finally, from about 4:30-5:30 it did pick up -and we managed to get planning after all!!
In the end, I realised I should have just rigged up and went out from the start. It like I always say in windsurfing indecision is worst than making a bad decision. I'll see if I can figure out how to post my pictures and video on u-tube or something.
