I have used it a couple times and it works good. I strap it to the mast just above the boom and I can see it on one of the tacks. You can also put it on your arm but I worry about it being in the water that much. They say it is waterproof to a couple feet but I don't feel good about it. On the mast works well and records my top speed for the day.
