We had some wind, planed some of the time, didnt some of the time. Sail sizes were big and bigger. We had a good crowd of windsurfers, very nice warm sunny day. The park wasnt crowded, and there were some boats and PWCs, but not too many.
I sailed my 7.5 on a KONA, new rental board at WindSense, and on my Tabou Rocket 115 (new, can be demo-ed at WindSense.)
We're in June now, so everyone better sail every chance you get. Remember, it may be September before your next chance. We may get alittle bit of wind this afternoon (Sunday,) if so, I'll try to sail Van Pugh.
Same here. I'll head to Van Pugh in the afternoon if the wind starts picking up by 1PM.

What the heck, I'm heading out ....

hey guys...i'm a kitesurfer and was wondering if there are any good locations on lake lanier to kitesurf?
The Kiters who do kite at Lanier usually go to Old Federal or Vanns Tavern, I think.
