We're leaving on Sunday for our big Pacific trip, but if Wx looks good, I hope to break away & join you tomorrow afternoon.

I'm considering sailing today - maybe 1:00ish. If anybody else is highly motivated, call me - chrisP - 404-396-1542.

Gene called with a live report from Van Pugh where it was 35F and around 6.0 - 7.0m wind at 10:30 AM. Her said that he'd drive back at Noon to check on conditions when it's warmed up. I'm waiting to hear back from Gene. Thanks Gene for checking!!!

Actually, from 10:30-11 am, it was 36 degrees and I think the 6.0 may run, but it might be 7.5. It is sunny which helps, but, if I was sure my 6.0 would be powered up, and it warmed up to 40, maybe, but for now I'll wait awhile and see what happens. Randy, Bill A and Joe O are NOs and Barrett and Chris P and me are MAYBEs.

Bummer, the one forecast they get right ....

Gene reports that it's warmed up to 40F, but he decided not to go. With the wind forecast to drop in the afternoon and packing to depart tomorrow, I'm reluctantly saying no.

Stefan and I landsailed today. I was on 4.0, I think he was on a 3.0, but not sure.

Here is our youtube vids.

My flying wing - still a bit of a work in progress. Also shot Saturday.

Re: Saturday 2/15

This day will be memorable simply for being the first time in memory that Randy used a sail 1 m bigger than Stephan. Lol

btw, Randy, it's okay to embed the vid in your post. Just put the video ID between the youtube tags from above. The id is the italicized part of the url

It'll look like this when you write it (but this one won't work because it's an example)

Webguy, every time I try that Internet Explorer pukes, keels over and rigor mortis sets in before it vanishes into software heaven. But its a good trick - there are many times I'd like kill IE anyway.

Version 1 I think. I got it an antique store. They claim it was Bill Gates own copy.

Seriously, I don't know.

In that case, you can simply type in the code if you prefer

Nothing wrong with posting the link but since the average viewer on the forum has the self-motivation of a turnip, chances go up that the video will be viewed

The flying wing was a Morgan Falls Park, about 9 am, just before all the baseball people showed up looking for parking. The other two were at Roswell HS.
