That's brutal Alan... so sorry. I'm guessing those weren't insured. I see a fair number of H-16s on Craig's List (esp in FL) and @ Catsailor.com. Maybe some of them would consider donating for the tax benefit. Also, perhaps some Hobie Fleets would consider loaning/chartering their boats this year so ya'll could still hold the event.

Unfortunately no insurance, most of the boats were really old... late 80's but still in great condition.
The event sites in Charleston and Biloxi will have boats for us too use. We just won't get any more practice time before the Charelston Regatta.
A good excuse if we don't win though!
