William got the best of it. I got on a plane a couple times (top speed 21.5, which on Gene's cheater GPS would be ~23), 9.5 LongBored. Nice sunset and toasty weather. I think the wind had trouble penetrating the cold layer on the water until the sun helped mix the layers... the gusts were noticeably warmer.

Sunrise has much less of a wind shadow and a very easy beach to launch from.
I'll see if I can sail from there today if I get my chores around here done.

VAN PUGH, 11:30 - No Caps (yet,) looks like some south in it, fairly warm but no sun.
I guess I'll ride over to Old Federal OR SunRise Cove, or both and check them out. Maybe around 1:00.
