It's Blowing!
About 1:00 I took the Hobie out to the main channel. Must be blowing 20, in fact, NOAA says it is 16 to 24. I was totally overpowered on the Hobie. I wanted to get in the harness and hike out but I was chicken. A bit gusty too. Everything was warm.
I bet I beat 20 different sailboats on a broad reach. I was hauling butt and water was flying everywhere.
Great day. If I had had my cell phone I would have let someone know.
I got off the water at 4:15 and it was still blowing. I'm pooped.

I got there later. Tried 6.5/shortboard for a while, then traded up to Hobie and ripped around for 3+ hrs... It stayed really gusty until well after 7p, but it's so much easier to deal with on a boat– just drive through it. Beautiful afternoon with warm wind and water.
