Where to go windsurfing this Winter?

Never been to La Ventana? The place to go in Mexico in the winter is Pro Windsurf La Ventana. WHY?
First and most important the owners are Tyson Poor and Wyatt Miller. I spent several weeks with these guys at Punta San Carlos wave camps and they are the most hospitable, knowledgeable and approachable nice guys. They are fantastic ambassadors for our sport as well as being amazing windsurfing athletes. They don't do kiting....100% windsurfing! They have an excellent selection of current windsurfing and stand up paddle gear at their resort which is an easy drive from the Cabo San Lucas airport. Want to know more?

When is the season?
-We are open from the 1st of November, through March. This is the windy season. Typical sail sizes range from 4.4-5.7, depending on sailor size. The wind usually comes up around 10am or 11am, and blows until around 4pm, where it starts to back off, becoming calm at night. This makes the mornings great for SUP, fishing, snorkeling, or just hanging out on a non windy, nice sandy beach.

What is the weather and water temp?
-November is usually the warmest month, with the water in the mid 80's, and the air temp during the day, in the mid to high 80's. As the winter months go on, the water temp starts to cool off, but no that much. Around late December and January, it will have dropped to around the low 70's, making a shorty wetsuit, or a full 3/2 more than enough to stay warm. The nice things about these months, is that the temp gets a lot cooler at night, making a hoodie and a pair of jeans a nice thing to pack. Once Feb and March come around, the water and air temps start to warm back up, getting a little closer to November weather.

What are the water conditions?
-It is mostly bump and jump conditions, with very steady side shore wind. A few times a month, we get what is called a "Norte", which means the wind comes all the way from the North of the Sea of Cortez, creating swell the whole way down. When this happens, the wind is usually a bit stronger and gustier, but it makes for perfect port tack jumping.

What are the accommodations?
-Visit our website www.prowindsurflaventana.com to see what we have available. We have everything from a small, single or double occupancy room with a bathroom, to a full size house with a fully functional kitchen.

How to get here?
-The best way is to fly into Cabo San Lucas. From there, we have a shuttle service that will pick you up and drive you to our place here in La Ventana. You can also rent a car if you would like, but you dont really need one once you are here.

Here is a link to the FAQ's on the website as well, with much more info: http://prowindsurflaventana.com/frequently-asked-questions/

I presume you are referring to the board. Last month?

Edit: not trying to stifle the conversation. Just answering the question.
