I'm planing on heading to Van Pugh around 11:00. It's supposed to be windy & cold, at 9:00 gainesville had 39 degrees where atlanta was only showing 36. Tim Carter said he's going and from Bills's post yesterday, it looks like he may make it. David Wade headed to Fla yesterday, what a sissy.

OK, this is what you missed - It was windy & COLD, temp droped from around 38 to 34 by the time we left, but lots of wind, sail sizes were low 5's to 5.9/6.0. We had 7 sailors; me(Gene), Tim C, Kristin, Joe O, Bill H, Michell Cooper, and Richard. It was cold but still fun. Did I mention it was Cold?

Well, now I really feel bad. Not because Gene called me a Sissy and a Baby but because I missed such a cold and blistery day. Just think I could have been sailing with my friends at Van Pugh but no. I had to go to Fla and sail with a bunch of people I didn't even know in steady 25 mile per hour winds and 61 degree temps. I almost felt naked not wearing my hood and gloves. Ok, I learned my lesson. I am sure everyone had a better time than me at Van Cold Pugh. Next time I'll know what to do.
