Bonaire and wet suits

Do you think we need to take shorties to be warm or to keep sunburn at bay or to protect from stinging things while snorkeling???

Last year I just took a long sleeve rashguard and was fine. Warmth shouldn't be an issue unless you are diving a lot.

We never got stung snorkeling in Bonaire - unlike Dominican Republic where even the plants bite ....

Be sure to bring some serious sunscreen though - the sun down there really burns.

For the past two years, I've never used anything other than a full length thin dive skin when diving. As for windsurfing, only a rash guard will do. The water is warm and it's 90 degrees there. Haven't read anything on Bonaire Talk about anyone getting stung. A whale shark was spotted yesterday between Klein Bonaire and Bonaire!

We leave in the morning!
