Fay was so sweet– just the right distance for wind w/out rain then backed up and unloaded 8-10 inches into the Lanier basin.
All that's spooling up now looks a tad more ominous. Gustav, that thing in the Bay of Campeche, TD8, something just north of Puerto Rico is spinning (without any mention from the NHC) and it looks like a really biggun coming off the African coast. Pat Robertson might get real busy shooing all those storms away.
