I can't bear to throw away the 78L Eruption that everybody else tried to give or throw away at various times so I decided to make something of it. The idea is an enclosure for a "changing room" at the beach at LLSC made from old boards. If you have one, or 3, that you'd rather see used for something cool vs thrown away, let me know! Also if you have seen, or can think of, some way to construct this I'd appreciate your input.
Cheers

Maybe like this but more closed up, possibly alternating upside down/rightside up or top/bottom to close gaps. Privacy is the goal.
Got one for you.
Just one???!!! I thought you had a warehouse full of stuff!!
Operative word: Useless
Other stuff are projects for a later date.
I'll make a donation, as well, ASAP.

I've got, or have a line on, about 6 boards. We'll need about 10 more.
Thanks to Gene and Pat for the design/construction ideas. Here's the latest concept:
We've got 7 boards so far plus I think two more to come (many thanks to Channey, Gene & Lisa, windlord, Chris F and webguy). But we still need about that many more especially blue, red and cool custom ones (plenty of yellows already).
You know you're NEVER going to even THINK about sailing that 80 liter wave board. Why not put it good use, and for all the world to see?
Thanks!

I've got an extra board for you but it's yellow, too. Also have a Mistral with a cut off nose for a project I'll likely never do. Interested?
I got the boards I have sorta mocked up in place. Still need a few more…

That's a cool looking thing. When it lands back on earth will it be reuseable?

Thomas Traversa tries out some "vintage" boards from his collection. Vintage meaning 2006 and newer If you have some old 90s board collecting dust in the garage, at least let someone enjoy the graphics - donate it to Chris's project. Having ridden some relatively new multifin boards, they really are fun and easier to ride than the beast in the garage.
