Last week was the 12th annual Jekyll Island Buggy Expo. Here are a few videos I made from the event. Winds were perfect the first 3 days, and quite usuable (a bit more down the beach) on Thursday. I covered 75 miles of sand overall. First is a 4m kite of my own design, which I normally fly "single handed."
Next is a video from my last day when getting upwind took a bit more work, but still fun.

How much wind did you have when you used the land board?
You know you are on a slippery slope. Land board -> into the shallow water -> you now are a kitesurfer
The winds were probably ~ 10ish at the time. I don't think the winds ever went much past 15 for the week, usually around 10-12. Hard pack sand is pretty low friction.
