Head instructor at my ABK clinic on my first OBX windsurfing trip 23 years ago. He was telling us then about these wild planing freestyle maneuvers - he was WAY ahead of that curve.
Edit: More inspiration for a couple years ago. Non-planing. He likes to use the term "Sail Tai-chi". By pushing or pulling on either side of the sail's balance point (harness lines if you have them in the right place), you can make it do whatever without struggling.

Coincidentally, two camps in early May: https://abkboardsports.com/camps/schedule
Highly recommended if you are tired of being stuck in the same rut for years: sailing along and flopping at each end to the other direction.
I pride myself on the fact that even after 20 years, I can still make this look hard.
What happens in a black hole stays in a black hole.
I feel ya. Somedays, I feel like I attended a clinic on how to suck at windsurfing and still remember everything they taught me.
