AJ must be sleeping on the job again. I'm sure that he would point out the following is a possibility. Not to discourage anyone from going, but I've seen this movie a few times. Could happen. May not. With 48 degree water and temps in the 60's the ingredients are there.
I've calcalated the probability of the dome effect affecting our fun by a comprehensive analysis of the forecast temperature gradient, moist adiabatic lapse rate, the prime rate, the influence of green comets, the confluence of inane comments, the earth's gravitational acceleration & coriolis effect at 34.27º N latitude... and Randy's movie watching history... the result–
If you don't go, you'll never know.
I'm in, if only to witness Foilboy2 getting airborne.
Ought to be interesting. With winds now predicted to get into the 20's the dome may be shattered and the wind will flow right in. Good luck foilers! I do want photographic evidence.
Speaking of movies, I dare you guys to try the trick (~half minute in) in this video on the water.

What happens in a black hole stays in a black hole.
Went to Old Federal
No wind....No problem, Took a nap for a hour in car.
Checked out Gene's new kite.
A breeze ( not to be confused with wind) came up and I sailed for a couple hours.
It was nice and warm... just cruised around
I will be back tomorrow, hopefully there will be a more than a breeze
Randy - Allain has already preformed your trick of having his GoPro camera bounce off his windsurfer. You retrieved your's. He spent a day swimming around with a mask looking for his on the bottom of Roanoke Sound. He claimed he'd shot the best videos we never saw.
Hope to see you at Van Pugh this afternoon. 70ºF should be above your temperature threshold!
I'm ok, except for lamenting the lack of debut of the new foil on the block
Finally seeing some signs of life on the lake cam... fixinta head that way
235º wind puts me at LLSC. Gate opens when you pull all the way up to it. If not 6089 opens it.
Really enjoyed sailing today... weather was great
Roger was kiting and Tim, Ed, ChrisPy and myself sailboarded. It was nice to have Gene, David W. and his better half out there in the pontoon boat. Its kinda like having an insurance policy allowing us to do things that otherwise we (I) would have hesited to do . Thanks David!
VP family commitments permitting. I have a (pick)axe to grind.
I plan to sail Sunday afternoon at Van Pugh if the wind is West as forecast.
Barrett
I plan to go to Old Fed today (Sat) and maybe Van Pugh on Sunday, depending on amount of wind and dirrection.

Maybe me too. 70's is tempting.

Literally true. Some bug has knocked me down for the weekend. Foilman, sorry if I spread anything.

Just checked Lake Cam & saw windsurfers in the distance. Also Fixinta head that way.

LLSC sounds good. Looking at the forecast, I'm thinking late session with maybe some night sailing?
