Goes with the territory; I've had enough happy surprises that I was due. Had a nice chat with Rhett while we waited. Just as well, I had left some things undone in the desire to get on the water. Karma bit me.
The difference between VP and the Buford exit was startling - from 55 to 64. And by the time I got back down to the OFC fiber plant just south of JC Blvd, the flags were flying nicely from the SW. We were just stuck on the transition.
Yes! Trying to imagine how it got that much damage to the right wing and still stay on the pavement.
PA 28-140 was the plane I soloed in on my 16th birthday.
Well, sorry to hear that someone had a less successful outing than Rhett and I did. Glad no injuries.
I was thinking at first since it was trying to get back to Briscoe that it landed in the southbound lanes which made me feel good for a second that I got skunked so left early enough to miss the traffic mess. Still found another one when I-75 was shutdown near my house but was able to dance around that one without too much of a problem.
I’m a definite maybe. Morning job complicates loading the swagger wagon
Swing and a miss. Atlanta weather was 65 and good sw tail wind all the way up. Get here and overcast. 55 and se wind.
Can see sw winds above but glass at the surface. FML
Forecasting swing and miss for sure. Ya don’t often see that —forecast 20-40, reality - variable at 5. It did finally turn on near sunset.

Anyone notice the airplane that landed on I-985? https://aviation-safety.net/wikibase/306190

Was that with Pussy Galore's Flying Circus?

No doubt Ms Galore was an inspiration to many.
