I'm planning on sailing Van Pugh, starting early and hopefully sailing all day. Forecast is like yesterday, which -
Friday report, fairly Windy all day. I sailed from noon to 5:00 with a break for lunch in the middle, resulting in sore hands and night leg cramps, but well worth it. Planed most of the time, did NOT ever pump to get on plane, wind was east with alot of north mixed in, we sailed out in the middle, it was misty rain to start, almost no boat traffic, water is bath tub hot, air was cool, I actually wore a shorty. What a great day, 10 of 10 on fun factor, middle of July?
I sailed my 7.5 on 150 liter F2 Thommen consignment board. This is a killer deal at $350, if someone doesnt buy it soon, I might have to, and if it doesnt sell by Oct, it goes back to the owner (Big Al) at Hatteras trip. I also sailed my 115 liter at the end. Other sailers were Barrett(8.3), Pat P(9.5), and Bill A(8.0).
Drew and I are sailing in front of the house today.
