If you are concerned with websites tracking you, consider
a) using Ublock Origin to block ads (Adblock actually doesn't block ads anymore despite the name)
b) using Privacy Badger from the EFF
c) if you really dislike FB, something like Facebook Container but be aware that embedded FB videos and Instagram posts on other sites won't fully or partially load.
d) a privacy oriented browser like Firefox or Safari
Your average news site has lots of trackers. FB and Amazon don't because they are already busy tracking you with internal metrics.
