OK the iceman regatta didn't happen last weekend. How can you hold the event when it's 70F, calm and raining? This Friday looks more promising, still no ice, but with the NWS forecast calling for 50F and 15-20 mph NW wind we may finally get a decent day of sailing.

Minus the rain, we are actually pretty good at it.

Seriously, though, having a choice, I'd rather not. Maybe the forecast will lag like it often does and we get wind on Sat.
Wednesday looks good, except for the 100% chance of severe storms. Thursday looks a tad less balmy but plenty o' wind.
Count me in if conditions turn out as forecast on Thursday.

Forecast looks optimistic, but for SW who knows.
If it holds up and if there is no lightning I may make it out there, Sunrise Cove? Right now it looks like morning is best.
Will check and see tomorrow am.

Saw this girl on Gaines Ferry Rd. earlier today. Anyone recognize her?
The wind is moving around pretty good here in Buford. But oh so cold. Bird feeder outside the office is frozen Solid.
Anybody sailing today? :?: :?: :?:
I'm good after lunch if it warms up.

l'll plan to see you at Van Pugh. Despite the ice this morning, it looks like a great forecast for this afternoon.

Working some this am but hope to sail this afternoon.

Bill, Chris P., Gene & I got out after the ice in Bill's bird feeder melted - not that cold at 44F and 47F water temp. Sail sizes 6.0 & 5.2 although Gene rigged a 7.5 as the wind dropped late.
Tomorrow looks windy and even colder - maybe a real iceman on Friday?
