We had a fun afternoon at Van Pugh as the wind gradually picked up from the WSW becoming NW. Wind was in the 7.5 to 8.5 meter range. Then, as shown in Chris' video, approaching thunderstorms turned the Lake into solid whitecaps as gusts hit 40 mph.
It turned on late Saturday for a few hrs. I got out on the Hobie and had a swell time, though I kinda wished I was windsurfing a few times when it came up stronger:
