Yes I am planning to go by lunch time. It is windy allright the temp is a bit low, at least it will be sunny and that counts for a few degrees.

If enough people plan to go sailing today, I might come and bring my paddle board, to claim the bodies and bring them back shore. Please write your name an social security number on your wetsuits. Hypothermia followed by drowning makes identification difficult. Perhaps I'll bring my camcorder to film the carnage. Might make for good TV tonight. "Live at 11 - Multiple Windsurfers take on today's wind and cold at Lake Lanier. See how their final moments."
Then again, its got to be near the end anyway, when its blowing up to the high 30's in Atlanta. Might as well enjoy it.

I plan to arrive early afternoon. As you can see from the revised forecast below, there will be no need for a wetsuit. Hopefully the meteor shower will hold off until after the X-mas party.

BTW for the speed devils, for last two years I'm in my mid 30s all the time
