For those unaware, the dome effect is a spring phenomenon where the colder water forms a chilled air layer just above and the wind is unable to reach the surface. You can often see clouds overhead moving quickly but no air at the surface. We've often thought that if only there was a way to harness the breeze above the cold layer. It may be that Kai Lenny has found the solution: the Carrot.
