End of World Holiday Soirée Spectacular

I think I've reserved the Old Tower for Dec 21st. (Things are a little loose up there with Armageddon looming and all, but consider this an invitation).

I suggest we RSVP here with whatever you'd like to bring, of the pot luck persuasion, so we don't all bring Beanie Weenies... and so we have some idea of numbers.

Time: 7-ish until The End
Place: Peachtree Dekalb Airport, Ste 300 ~ The Pentagon Club
Dress: Festive/Holiday/Apocalyptic
Gift: White Elephantine Exchange-a-Rama

I got dibs on Beanie Weenies

That's great. Dirol Any chance you can do a fireworks display? Don't see much how it would be a problem for the FAA with the world ending and all. Lol

Oh boy, Windsense is now offering a swell prize for the best Tinfoil headwear (or other Anti-Apocalyptic Apparel) at the EoW Holiday Party!

Also the WindSense Speed Challenge Sept/Oct contest Winners (Scott S, Gene, Chris V) have decided to donate part of the winnings to the Club's Party, all of the cash and some of the beer, (we held back the next contest's entry fees.)

The next contest is on, although I haven't heard of any GPS readings yet. Hopefully we'll get some wind soon and some good speeds. We're also going to add a prize for the fastest speed by any sailor who is not already in the 30 mph club who breaks 30 mph. Hopefully this will result in more contestants. The entry fee is still ONLY one six pack of beer OR $5 cash. Who's going to be the first new member of the 30 mph club?

How about some recognition for, maybe, highest GPS by a pre '92 board, etc?

How about a prize for the best GPS time on a plastic HyFly twin fin board?
