Coming soon - Full Starboard Race foil set

just an fyi, I'll probably be selling my Starboard foil kit. It's the iqFoil mast (C400), 115+ fuse and every "Classic" race wing from 1000 down to 550 (1000, IQFoil 900, 800, 725, 650, 550) with full shim set. Bonus is an extra stab, a 115++ fuse in B- condition, an extra -255 stab, 330 stab, original C300 mast and bag to hold most of it. Haven't decided on pricing yet. If you are interested in just the 330 stab or older mast, I'd sell them separately.

The 1000 and 900 are really easy, stable and give you the opportunity to ride all over the lake. While you can race them, they are really nice for freeride, too. The smaller wings give you the chance to push things and go a bit quicker. All the wings are from good to excellent condition. I'll make sure all the scratches are taken care of but there are hardly any. I'm pretty finicky about my wings.

If you are interested in other, less expensive options, I have both my old Tillo freeride set and a NP Foil Glide first generation (blue) with the large wing which is a very easy to ride wing. Both are tuttle box.

Would love to see this gear sold and used locally instead of shipping it off.

Update: scroll down to see the current situation as some folks have already expressed interest in different parts of the kit.

Huh, what are you switching to?

If you can't get rid of the 1000 I'll buy that, but you'll want to sell to a local first.

Phantom. Irix X VMG for light light wind and Spark for everything else that's not freeride. My AFS stays in the quiver. Good

I've got a narrower board for Christmas (AHD Compact 83) and it's allowed me to comfortably sail smaller sails and foils in a bit more wind. Wanted a chance to taste what the new generation of lower drag wings were about. I still think the Starboard are really good and it was a difficult decision to upgrade. I still have plenty to learn from the current quiver but the close out pricing of the Iris X was killer.

Yes, the 1000 is my "I'm going to fly today regardless of what the wind conditons are" wing. Lots of good times on that one. Shame nobody does a garage version to fit the zillions of IQ fuses out there.

I may need a 330 stab as an upgrade to my freeride stab when (if) I improve.

I'll take the 725, 650 and 550 if that works for you.

Ahh cool, that seems like a great set. One of the other guys here has switched to Phantom as well, after going from Starboard and experimenting with a Fanatic foil.

Will keep you all in mind. If I can figure out how to package and sell the iqfoil 900/800 by itself, I think we can make lots of folks happy. OTOH, a great opportunity for someone to jump into the deep end of performance foiling by getting the complete set.

Ed, was thinking of you when I wrote about the 330 stab. I need to talk to Eric about the mast - he's got the regular 115 fuse and it would be a good match. It's a little flexy for the longer + fuse.

Update - unless someone steps up for the whole kit, the wings 725 and smaller have firm interest as does the c300 mast and 330 stab.

That leaves the 1000/900/800 wings IQFoil mast, 2 fuses (+ and ++) and kit bag. Probably looking for $1700 for those. If no serious locals, I'll talk to aero and then put the rest on FB.
