Sometimes when I drive I like to turn off the radio and just be alone with my thoughts.
Yesterday on my long, long......long ride home something came to mind.
Why do they call it a hamburger when it’s made from beef.
Fun day...jibidy jibin.
Took some almost dead downwind trips.
Webguy was all over the lake.
Its amazing all the angles foiling has opened up
Langdon, Ed and I were trading jibes later in the afternoon - absolutely lit and then leaning into a long carve. Fun, fun. Enough wind but water was flat enough that you weren't in any real jeopardy. Well, until my last one. The sun reflected off the sail and I was pretty much jibing blind. I had no idea how high I was off the water. Stuffed the nose into a swell and came to a "rapid" stop.
Yeah, the foil has changed the dimensions of the lake. I used to think a trip out to "16" (the mark and island just above Aqualand) was a bit of a ride. Now, it's just a halfway point in a few directions.
Barrett scored his 89th session of the year today, Ed was looking wicked on his jibes, too. Gene and Chris P. were out and having a good time, too.
Seems like a mistake. Lowest I remember it ever being was 44 in the middle or winter. Plus, we haven't had air temps that low more than a few times this season. (BTW - 44 is plenty cold enough.)

Ditto. Thanks for posting!
I plan to sail some the next few days, today could be nice if the sun will come out, Saturday may be too cold.

Clearing line is not far away. Here comes the sun!
I like this satellite loop thingy: https://www.star.nesdis.noaa.gov/GOES/conus_band.php?sat=G16&band=GEOCOLOR&length=24
Conditions were good & tomorrow looks like a repeat, so I plan on sailing again tomorrow (Friday).

Weird, I hope I’m not absorbing NPR signals.
Looked it up a few minutes ago.
The short answer is that it came from Hamburg, Germany

Anybody thinking of thinking of going today (Saturday)?
The CoE info for Lanier recording says water temp at the dam is 38°. No way, right?!
