At 6PM Adam is the last windsurfer on the water as we pack for a morning departure. Not to rub it in, but we've had wind every day this week except Monday, with a light breeze of 10-15 in the afternoon.
Yea verily
Yesterday, 5/28, (that's my story dammit, and I'm sticking to it!) was pretty good at LLSC for Crispy & me. He, on his trusty 5.8 and I on me 6.5/foil got some good rides... and I got my usual thrashing with some epic crashing
Yesterday, Saturday late afternoon, David D and I kited (17s) Old Fed and William and Ed windsurfed (8.0/7.5) Van Pugh. Wind was kind of gusty, had some north in it and parks were not crowded due to rainy morning.
Anybody doing anything today? parks may be more crowded today.
There was no desperation late yesterday at Van Pugh. Ed and I were pretty wound for a couple of hours late in the day. Owing to family stuff, I didn't get there until later in the afternoon and Ed was even later than me. I first thought to rig big but it looked pretty filled in. For about 30 minutes, I regretted going smaller but then it kicked in pretty solid although gusty. Airport reported 15 to low/mid 20s. Chop was horrendous at times. Nothing like being fully cranked and seeing 2 ft wake coming at you.
What's wrong with that? That's usually my favorite.....

Meanwhile, at Van Pugh...
Pumpkin pleads not to leave.

I'm not a dog whisperer but I don't think Pumpkin is "pleading". I think Pumpkin, a la Randy, is channeling a little Clint:
--- The Arrogant Jerk: Crabby and irritable since 1998.
Hey Chris, what time were planning on being quietly desperate tomorrow?
Randy can join us and be exuberantly ecstatic.
Hoping arrongantjay can be desperately quiet in the meantime.
I think he's making plans for next Saturday webguy.

Good point. Randy. And I'm the guy that showed up to DWade's party a week early.
Rejoice!!! It's Sunday morning and there is wind in Atlanta! I plan on heading to Van Pugh this afternoon.
