Good time at Galts. Eric was leaving as I showed up. Wind was solid until about 5pm. First time using the Nova. Definitely less resistance than the Start in the marginal winds but a little more squirrely in the chop. Probably the last session for a while.. I'm glad it was a good one.

I moved the straps up, the mast base back, let out the harness line a little. I got in the harness and straps and up on a plane much quicker than with the Start. Maybe because of my weight the extra speed is what makes the difference - less width and less of a wall of water in front of the board. Other than those adjustments, I really didn't have much time to tinker with it.
Micah,
Glad it worked for you. The squirrelly thing has me puzzled but a picture is worth a thousand internet idiots (me) so I'll come over to your neighborhood some time. Not sure if squirrelly meant you were having new sensations of foot steering as the board is narrower than the Start or something else is going on.
Looks like some east later in the week so maybe you'll get wet a few more times before packing it in for the season.
Eric,
Your video made us all want to go buy longboards. Well done. Heard the "skip" the Chris mentioned. First though, I thought it was the "drop".
Maybe in the afternoon. Anybody up for toona?
Planning to be at Galts around 12:30.
Heading to VP
Ed
VP 1:45. Just ed and me. Wtf?
Lots of caps.
I plan to be at Galts around 3:15pm.
Just Ed, CP and myself out on a very beautiful day. W-NW winds 10-20. Water is still warm but my fingers packed in the feeling thing early on.
Very little traffic on the water and not a single boat trailer in the parking lot when I arrived. Odd for a Sunday afternoon.

Were you in the footstraps?

Fantastique Mon Sewer! Love the music... but did it go wonky near the end? Or was it just me (again)?
@webguy.

I am looking forward to using it some more.

Thanks for the comments.
Video updated with weird noise removed.
On flat water Longboards are fun, when choppy, this is another story ....
I thought the water looked calm in the video. When I arrived it was whitecaps all over.
Squirrelly, as in more maneuverable that my start (a.k.a S.S. Carnival Cruise Ship). Not a bad thing.
