If your local body of water isn't shown, we either don't know much about it or there are better options elsewhere. Some smaller local lakes may be fine for a light air session or just the need to get out on the water. However, to take advantage of stronger winds, you'll prefer being some place where the wind can blow unrestricted over the water a half mile (1km) or more.
