In a major development that could drastically alter the future direction of our sport, the International Canoe Federation (ICF) has challenged the long-standing assumption that the International Surfing Association (ISA) is the Olympic-level governing body of stand up paddling, staking a rival claim and forcing a gridlock that has left SUP communities in limbo and blocked a potential inclusion in the 2018 Youth Olympics.

ANY water sport with a paddle? I'd post a pic but I've just poisoned my search history trying to find something suitable. Here's about as close as I can get:
--- The Arrogant Jerk: Crabby and irritable since 1998.
My prediction: Between ICF and ISA the body which gives the largest amount of bribes to the IOC will win. BTW - did pole dancing ever get accepted as an Olympic sport?
What happens in a black hole stays in a black hole.
IOC vs FIFA. Battle of the Swiss bank accounts.
Nothing recent on the move to make pole dancing an Olympic sport. There was a petition on change.org
It was up for five years. Looks like a bunch of signers by the name of Krystal, Brandy, Amber, Candy.
IOC members will see enough pole dancing as the two paddling governing bodies try to bribe them with junkets.
