The moment Chris saw the foil crossing the boat wake
How many times does a windsurfing video with hardly a whitecap get you so absolutely jazzed? However is doing the production for Pryde's videos is killing it.
Me?
Psychological projection is a theory in psychology in which humans defend themselves against their own unconscious impulses or qualities (both positive and negative) by denying their existence in themselves while attributing them to others.
Did someone just park their windfoil on a sandbar?
Someone windfoiling at OBX,
Oh, I've done that without the foil. For as little as OBX represents in my total windsurfing time, running aground has accounted for 100% of my nose removals and 33% of my mast snaps.
If you thought foils were just for mowing the grass (borrowing a CV term):
Back loop off of flat water. Cool. I wish people figured out you can turn a phone 90 degrees
How to carry your board. Allegedly. I'm convinced that there are a couple of brutes just off camera holding the whole thing up given what my rig weighs. But then, I'm old and weak.
Via Bigwinds in the Gorge. This guy sailed 63 days on a foil in Baja this year. He's pretty good. His daugher is better, pro Fiona Wylde. Warning: the audio for the first minute is crap. FF to the part on grass which is better.
It's already 5-7 mph at Gilmer. Add a little convection like we had yesterday afternoon– and blamo! We got wind!
Who's with me??

It's just a theory. That doesn't mean it's true. There is an environmental scientist at a community college in Idaho who disagrees. /sarcasm
Yeah, I'm projecting. Apparently, it's a popular thing to do lately. (And, that's about as close as I'll tip toe to the edge of this subject.)
So many possibilities:
Navy drone windfoil dropping small depth charges?
Did someone just park their windfoil on a sandbar?

Just rewatched (for science, of course). Now that I have a clue at what I'm looking at, noticed the subtle foot steer around a coral ahead around 1:05
Someone windfoiling at OBX,
What happens in a black hole stays in a black hole.

"Mowing the lawn" credit goes to tolney.
Not in the footstrap thingys?! I think this is Mr Slingshot hisself, Tony Logosz.
