Have adjustable harness lines? Read this

From our friend, the Puffin: http://www.peconicpuffin.com/the_peconic_puffin/2017/10/bad-accident-waiting-to-happen-reprise.html

Similar concerns have been expressed here, too. I'm too lazy to look up the thread.

Yep...I had this occur about 10 years ago in the Gorge. Longest 10-20 seconds under the sail, unable to get a breath...seemed like minutes. Various solutions have been suggested, duct tape on the harness hook, solid hook, cut the ball or hard loop off on the harness line etc.
For me, I just stick to fixed lines. Don't miss the adjustable lines at all...maybe if I was seriously racing, but that is not what I do. Plus most adjustable harness lines that I used were prone to slipping.

Best solution. Get to the gym once in a while, work extra hard on your forearms, eat healthy foods like spinach and you won't need harness lines. This guy doesn't.
