If there's no wind at the lake...

... and nobody's there to experience it, does it still suck? Yes. Yes it does. Boredom
Eyeing a line of t'storms north of Lanier and wondering if an outflow boundary / gust front might make for some foilable wind. Shok
It's APRIL, dangit! Needs me a fix!

NWS now showing dots Saturday afternoon. Probably because we've decided to make a last minute trip to see the in-laws. That always helps the forecast.

Sailed on Lake Chatuge this evening (NC side) about 100 yards parallel to the dam. Not really windy but a good constant 7-10 breeze made for a nice evening cruise. Beautiful area, nice rigging area, easy launch and mountains all around

Didn't miss much. Puffy SE wind made for a few foiling forays. Shok
9.5 seems too big. I think I'd have done better with a 7.5

This reminds me of that eternal question we used to ponder "If a tree falls on Helen Keller in the woods, does it make a sound?"

What happens in a black hole stays in a black hole.

Sorry, I don't see what you are getting at. Wink
