Conflict averted. 50 will feel like a heat wave, today.
Saturday? Don't know man. 60ish? If I knew where to park my camel, I'd make it. That's like Sahara weather.
Edit: The temperature is taking its own sweet time - 39 as of 12:15. I guess Daylight Savings Time isn't helping (still looking at morning temperatures even though it's lunch time). I need to see some mid 40s or I'll have to eat crow and wait until Saturday.
At 2:30 on my deck (in shade) it's still 41 degrees,
BUT it feels pretty good in the sun on the front side of the house,
BUT part of that is due to lack of wind chill,
BUT Gilmer is reporting your mid 40's, at 46 degrees.
but I think I'll wait until this weekend.
Outrageously good day for foiling with training wheels. 8-18 and it warmed up to almost 50. A bit of a swell in the middle but super flat and fun past the island. A few good rides and a few Icarus crashes (when you get too close to the sun and the foil comes to the surface).
Last couple of days definitely chilled the water though. Saw some seagulls wearing Patagonia fleeces.
Gilmer underreported what was on the water. Reverse dome effect?
Barrett, You know I love you, man. But not so much that I'd freeze me booty off today... gonna save myself for SATURDAY!
