It'll be in the car but chances are, not. The fin head is a very deep tuttle and too big for the sacrificial lambs I was going to use for the first outings. I'm inclined to wait for a milder 10-15 day, instead.
Thanks, Barrett, for being a good archivist... I need all the help I can get to remember these sessions!
Great day, though it took me a while to get dialed in again to regular windsurfing. (Well, back to my previous level of incompetence anyway). 5.5 on my ancient skinny board is some good clean fun!
Wrapped it up with a foiling sesh and even got to see webguy getting some quiet time on his new stick!

+1. Without Barrett and everyone else who takes pics, it never happened.
"Quiet time". I like that (it gets quiet when you are up on the foil - really, really quiet). What a crazy fun day. Okay, the first couple of runs on a 6.0 totally sheeted out were a bit frisky but after rigging the 5.2 - funsville. The very west wind had a shadow inside so it was deceptive until you were out in the middle. And, it was west enough so the jibe flats on the other side by Aqualand had wind. Top it off with the maiden voyage of the foil. I'll do a more full write up some time but the foil is super cool - especially for some place like Lanier. Foilman had some ripping rides on his, he's getting really dialed in.
Also, a welcome to Bruno and Renzo who stopped by to grab the stoke. Good to see you, guys. Tim and Langdon, however, you bothneed to think about a rehab program. You are having way too much fun.
Hi guys!! Thank you so much for great time and bringing back my good memories from my old time windsurfing. I am so glad to meet all of you and I am definitely getting back in windsurfing. Thank you so much for welcoming me and sharing with your experience and knowledge collected and perfected over years. Windsurfing technology is changed a lot and I can't wait to try out new vs. old and in all honesty, I just love windsurfing. I have favor to ask you guys, can you please help me to find right gear for me to get my "sea legs" back (that is how Geane said ) Any tips and advices are greatly appreciated. And last I want to say special thanks to William for following up, reaching out to me, and inviting me, thank you!! Thanks and I hope to see you guys soon again!

PS. Ed I hope to meet you next time.
My high school tennis coach had a mid 70s version.

Confused. Is this a Fargo reference?
(Disturbing image tastefully not included.)
Is 15-25 foil conditions or board conditions?

eww, the shredder. I'd almost put it out of my mind. Thanks a pantload.
Based on that last big day, I've forgotten how to windsurf.I will sail Saturday.
Where do you want to launch from?
