The second best wind of the day at Old Fed was when Gene was running around with a small windmeter saying "Randy it always say 8 mph - is this thing broken?" The best wind of the day was I came in from sailing and a gust came through. Gene said "I guess it works - it said 20 mph in that gust."
Of course as a result of that I went back out and struggled to make it back because the wind almost died.
Anyway - I did better yesterday at MAP, though by no means good.

I sailed Thursday from LLSC courtesy of CV and as usual, had pretty nice day, playing with a weird combo - Starboard Start with a 30 year old 7.0 sail. Strange but interesting - actually planed up at times. The most off-putting thing was the difficulty of handling the board off the water due to sheer size.
The best wind was when I was rigging, and it wasn't much. Chris M., Jim, Pat & I hung out for a while before heading back into traffic.

Chris V and I hung out working on something else. We thought about it but Chris noticed it wasn't kicking in like it should for the forecast to hold.
The man saved me gas money. I owe him a frosty one.
