Wind Friday - April 15

The forecasts agree on good NE wind. They can't all be wrong - Right? Based on the current forecast, I plan to sail at Van Pugh, but if it shifts SE can sail at Vanns. Please post if you can go.

(On Wed. the wind was early, but died by the time David & Drew arrived.)

What you write is right– they can't all be wrong. Just need one to be right– Right? Shok
Life is short. Let's go windsurfing. I'm in.

I think what they write is right, it's blowing right now! Headed to Vanns.

We had great wind at Van Pugh until 1PM, then it dropped off. Jim was heading out on a 6.5m when I arrived & powered up. I rigged a 7.0m, and it was the right size when I got out. Dave D. arrived and rigged a 7.5m, but by then there were lulls. Chris arrived at 1PM and sailed the gusts with his foil board.

Roger missed you today (Saturday). 14 wasn't enough when the wind began to fade around noon. Worse, he had to hang around and talk to a windsurfer (me).

Sailed from Vanns to Van in about 4 jibes where I was told it was blowing a solid 6.5. Was lucky to get out of Weaseltown on my 8.0 and back upwind before the wind faded too much. Lol

Doing the Vanns to Van run reminded me of the times I did it with Stephan. I think he was somewhere laughing at me when the wind let up and I schlogged back upwind since that's what usually happened when we tried stuff like that.

Stopped by Dwade's house because I had the wrong day for the dock BBQ so we hung on his porch and chatted. He's got a sweet set up. After I save up enough money for a foil, I'm saving for a house like his.
