Tybee Island Ice Breaker

1st 2015 Sesh.

Been here three out of the last 4 weeks and this was the first time the wind and rain lined up well enough for me to sail.

- classic north beach winter time sail
- No one on the beach or in the water.
- Grey Sky and cold water
- air temp about 55 ,,,, nice!
- Wind 12-15 knots
- sailed two hours - 22 miles- 29.03 top speed.
- 6.5 ezzy with cambers. Medium pocket. 115 Liter board.

On one tack in the shipping channel I would just about swear my fin bumped bottom (it's about 50' deep there). The bump flopped me in the water & after some thrashing about I executed a water start and moved on. Uhmm...

Sure... you hit bottom. A surfer got home and looked at his GoPro footage.

That fish seems to be thinking to himself "Efffn human....Give me something that tastes good."

What happens in a black hole stays in a black hole.
