This year we extended our stay in Nags Head an extra week by inviting family members to join us. It's been a wonderful time with lunch on the pier, sightseeing, bike rides and celebrating my Dad's 86th birthday.

My Brother and I are the only windsurfers in the group, so we've gone out in the morning before everyone gets started, or hit the water in the afternoon after a family outing. Sunday was the one day that it blew so hard everyone else hunkered down inside while my Brother & I attempted to sail the gale-force winds with pro-windsurfer Brian. He's the owner of Ocean Air and lives next door.
