Chris V., Chris P. & I sailed at Van Pugh. Upon arrival, we sat in our vehicles for a while watching menacing clouds & light rain showers, followed by clearing. I rigged an 8.5m, Chris V. a 6.5m & Chris P. a 5.8m. We all got on a plane at various times, but I think the 8.5m was right. I planed though the lulls and managed to hang on in the gusts. It was a beautiful sail with impressive cloud formations, a bit of rain & lots of sun. Also the first warm day of the year. Well worth the wait.
Don't know if I can make it up tomorrow. 421 looks good, too.

(right...)
If I'm able, I'm looking to sail tomorrow. Chris - if you are going to LLSC, call me. Otherwise, I may go to Van Pugh. ChrisP.
Chris, weather permitting, I also plan to sail this afternoon, either at LLSC, Van Pugh, or Old Federal. Please give me a call when you decide.

Oscillating a lot so far. If it goes west (like it seems to trying to do) let's go to VP.
Hasn't picked up yet... ETA for me is 2-ish.
2ish - same time as my dentist appointment.
BTW - i'm hearing the 420 has a whole different meaning than sailboat racing.....

Lots of ugly clouds and spots showing up on radar. Probably worth checking radar before anyone makes the drive
This is not an observation from VP but rather my house.
Wind is all over the place. I heard thunder at 12:55. No rain.

1:15 no white caps at VP.
Definite signs of nympho cumulus in flowery branch. I ain't askerd... gonna twist me up a fatty and go for it! :-o
Tornado warning and rain/thunder while I was at the dentist (in Cumming, fairly close to the lake.) Did anyone go out?

This is like what happened last time. Forecast for 30 yet it only blew 5.

Interesting. It was clear and really blowing in Kennesaw around 7pm and I was regretting not going out.
Next two days don't look bad though
After waiting for most of the rain to pass, we had a decent session CV, Barrett, & I. 6.5, 8.5, & 6.0.

By about 6 o'clock (right after Barrett & Pyron bailed) it was pretty darn good.
