What happened to your feet? Sore, blisters or just cold?
The insistence on wearing the thinnest possible booties so I don't have to fudge with my footstraps as the seasons change. Nothing like trying to kick into that backstrap with the nubs of your numb toes. I know it's my own fault and I take ownership of it. I do this crap every winter. Just like how my fingers get cold because I won't stick them into my mittens.
Someday, I'll spring for 4mm dry boots and we'll sit around and laugh about how foolish I was for years.
It was ripping today. 5.2, way overpowered for first part of session, although some slippage in my outhaul cleat may have contributed to some of the OP. Still, it was honking, and due to direction, it was real hard to tell from shore. Scott sailed some also, on 5.5. Water was chill, air not bad.
